Leaving Lisbon, we head to Ericeira, where we can stop to visit the Mafra National Palace — a baroque monument of great proportions, which includes a royal palace, a basilica, a convent and one of the most beautiful and rich libraries in Europe.
Heading to Ericeira, a fishing village known for its sinuous streets, white-and-blue whitewashed houses, and also for being the only world surf reserve in Europe, due to the excellent conditions for practicing this sport.
Take the opportunity to enjoy fresh fish and seafood from this area for lunch. Optionally, we can also stop in Sobreiro and visit the miniature village created by José Franco — the kids
