Green is the color that stands out the most in the vast landscape between the Douro River and the Minho River, especially the humid microclimate that makes this region perfect for the cultivation of various varieties of green wine, including the famous Alvarinho grape variety from the Monção and Melgaço sub-region.

We will set out to discover the techniques for growing and transforming grapes into nectar known as green wine and for this we will visit Solar do Alvarinho in the mountainous village of Melgaço bathed by the Minho River. After a gastronomic lunch with the most varied products from the region, we will visit Monção where we can contemplate its military fortress as well as its beautiful Romanesque churches. Before returning to Porto we will visit an Alvarinho wine producer where we can taste and taste the green wine from this
