With over 100 years of life, Poças is currently in the hands of the 4th generation and is one of the few Port Wine companies founded in Portuguesa and has remained in the hands of the same family since its founding.
The Poças Visitor Center has been open to the public since 2016 and was completely renovated in 2018 - an innovative project signed by the architects Lúcia Vaz Pato and António Mota.
With us you will immerse yourself in the family atmosphere of Poças, experience the unforgettable aroma of the most noble wines and observe the routines of a lively cellar.
Our old Tawny Port Wines built Poças's reputation, but Douro DOC wines have also proven their quality for 30 years.
In 2019, Poças received the award for “Fortified Wine Producer of the Year 2018” by Revista de Vinhos.
Receiving around 28,000 visitors a year, in 2018 the Visitor Center was awarded the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence.
