Duration
9 Hours
About
On this tour, the Sardinha goes on a pilgrimage to Fátima, a city in central Portugal, 130 km from Lisbon, and one of the most important places of worship for Catholics, with over 5 million visitors every year. Enjoy moments of contemplation at the Little Chapel of the Apparitions, where Our Lady appeared to the three little shepherds in 1917.
Travel in comfort and safety. Learn from a knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly guide. Have free time for lunch. This shared tour, for up to a maximum of 7 people, guarantees a personalized and intimate experience. English will be the reference language if the group includes speakers of several languages.
After visiting the Sanctuary of Fátima, travel to Nazaré - with possible stops in Alcobaça and/or Batalha - for a lunch of fresh fish and seafood. This fishing village was one of the first points of international tourist interest in Portugal during the last century. Today, it is known worldwide for its giant waves and surf records.
Watching the waves from Sítio de Nazaré, also a place of ancient religious worship, is an overwhelming spectacle not to be missed.
Finally, we arrived in Óbidos, a romantic medieval village famous for its winding streets, whitewashed houses covered with flowers, vases and tiles — all within the walls of a magnificent 12th century castle. '
If the tour is canceled because there is no minimum number of participants, we will offer an alternative date/experience or a full refund.
