Itinerary

The day begins by leaving Ponta Delgada towards the eastern part of the island, making a short stop at the town of Povoação (first settlement on the island) for a comfortable break (30 min) where you will have the opportunity to taste the traditional sweet 'Fofas'.

Arriving at Faial da Terra, we began our walk at the picturesque little place of “" Sanguinho "”, where you will not only enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view, but you will also benefit from the explanations of our guide about this fantastic place.

We continue the path through the exotic and dense vegetation to reach the magnificent “" Salto do Prego "” waterfall, where you can, if you wish, bathe in the clear and cool waters.

Continuing on the trail, we follow a “" levada "” until we reach Faial da Terra. Optional: a Picnic in nature, or a full meal that will be held at Faial da Terra, in a traditional country house, where food is cooked in a wood oven

At the end of the day, we returned to Ponta Delgada.
